Spaghetti

Need I say more?

Ummmmm - it's stuck to the wall . . . true 'al dente' . . .

Love

Marek just adores his sister. Monkey see, Monkey do is in FULL affect. He follows his big sister around all day doing exactly what she does. Sometimes it's cute - sometimes not!
This was before she left for Houston with Aunt Gena to visit her Mimi . . .

Hair Cut #2

. . . for Marek - didn't go so good. It was his nap time so he was tired and to top it all off - he had some snarls in the back of his head. All it took was one pull - that was it - he screamed the remainder of the time and I'm sure he'll be horrified of getting his hair cut for years to come.

His hair looks so much better though, it was getting quite long. :)

December/January Birthdays

The beginning of the year is full of birthdays for our family: Chase-Dec 30, Papa-Jan 7, Ashlynn-Jan 9, Dylan-Feb 9, Madelyn-Feb 14, Landon-Feb 21 and then there's March!
We celebrated Chase's, Papa's, and Ashlynn's birthdays last Wednesday.
All of the kids in our family loves mom's spaghetti - Marek can't eat it fast enough . . .
Chase got a tool set with real tools from Nana and Papa. Madelyn is wearing the safety goggles (below) and is trying to steal his flashlight from his carabiner. . .
Marek using the packaging as his safety hat!
Lil' Helper . . .
Along with the tool set, Papa also cut out the pieces for Chase and Chris to build a birdhouse together. Madelyn was obsessed with using the tools - Chase was sweet enough to share them and his new bird house with his cousin . . .

That's definitely MY girl!
Marek was helping out, too . . .
CAKE!
No hands needed . . .
Marek's cupcake was gone in about 10 seconds . . .
That's my boy!
Happy Birthday Chase, Papa, and Ashlynn!

Chuck E. Cheese

For Chase's and Ashlynn's birthdays, Steph and Chris took them to CEC and invited us! Marek has never been and as it turns out, Madelyn's first visit was when she was 18 months also!
Mads and I back on 9/1/05

My little man has been cutting his canines for the past two weeks - what a trooper . . .
Cousins . . .
We sat down right next to Chuck E. himself and ate some pizza . . .
Not for long - back to playing!
It was a fun day had by all - thanks, Posts!

Eatin' Popcorn, Watchin' a Movie

Let's Jump!

This place will always be a hit! Kelly and I took our kids there on Friday right when they opened.
Marek was a little overwhelmed with all the massive jump houses at first. He was just there in November for little Sara Semmler's birthday but was too small to do anything really. He was very hesitant at first to get on the big slides so we played catch with the balls for a while . . .
After a while, he was warming up to everything . . .
Madelyn, Dylan, and Landon were hard to keep up with!

Weeeeee!
I let Marek go up and down the big slide a few times by himself and he handled it like a pro! Dylan stood behind him to make sure no one ran over him - such a protector!
What a big boy! (Notice Dylan still watching and blocking the way for my boy!)
There are still some of the jump houses that they can't make it through with some help. Kelly and I had a few excuses to go through. :) Here Landon is showing his appreciation for his mommy's help by giving her sweet kisses!

We at lunch at Chili's and the kids were so exhausted by the end of it all - Success!

Here's the clip of Marek going up and down the slide by himself! I was so proud and grateful for sweet Dylan for taking such good care of his cousin . . .

Happy New Year!

Another year has gone by - it's hard to believe. I can't believe I'm up this late! I fell asleep around 10ish and woke up at about 10 'til midnight. I woke Tommy up at 11:59 to watch the ball drop and then sent him upstairs to bed. We are party animals . . .

A very Blessed, Safe, and Happy 2008 to all of you!
