Marek's 1st Houston Trip

We set out in the family truckster this past weekend to go to Houston. We were all packed in like sardines. There is so much to bring with just one kid - with two - forget it . . . We actually went for a funeral of a dear friend's brother. Our thoughts and prayers are with David and his family during this difficult time.

Madelyn settled in for the long ride with her DVD player and a root beer (which is a big treat!) . . .

Marek played with all of his toys - and when I say "played with" I mean "chewed on" . . .

When he got bored with his toys - Brock came to the rescue and helped entertain him!

We stopped about 2/3 way there so I could feed Marek . . . Daddy was on "burping" duty . . .

It's really too bad that he's so sad all the time . . .Madelyn was such a trooper!

She finally fell asleep with about an hour left of the trip. . .
Marek was very excited to see Mimi and be out of his car seat!

Dziadek's favorite thing to do is cook and feed us! Just so happens my favorite thing to do is EAT!!

Marek was such a good boy all weekend - he just hung out and played . . .

On the way home we didn't want to stop because the roads were getting so bad. I sat in the back seat and fed my boy some sweet potatoes!

Let's JUMP!

Madelyn's favorite place right now! It's three giant rooms with huge bounce houses and inflatable slides. Kelly and I took the kids there on Thursday and Stephanie came along for back up while her kids were in school! It's a great work out and they have a BLAST! We have a little fun, too . . .

We went to lunch at Fresco's and had some margs! The kids took great naps and so did I!

Grins and Giggles

It's amazing how quickly children change. It's also amazing how different my children are! Marek is getting more and more responsive and his little personality is really showing through! He is ALL boy! He's so happy - long gone are the days of colic! He always wakes up with coos and giggles and I'm greeted every morning with a big toothy grin!

I just thank God every day for such blessings.

Happy Birthday Ashlynn and Papa!

Papa's birthday was on the 7th and Ashlynn's was on the 9th. We celebrated on the 9th as per Ashlynn's request!

Ashlynn got the same star mirror/vanity/song playing/brush/microphone that Madelyn got for Christmas. Maddie was a little confused as to how her gift got all the way back to Nana's and Papa's house . . .

Ashlynn got a princess cake (also by request) - a princess tea party cake! Nana is so amazing!

I believe this was Madelyn's response to "how many pieces of cake would you like?"!

Poor Aunt Kelly got pummeled by balloons! I'm not sure what warranted this - maybe just the sugar rush from the cake and ice cream . . . Two of them were her own children . . .
Marek is so excited to get in on the action some day!

6 Month Check Up

Marek turned 6 months on Papa's birthday (Jan 7, 2007)! He's such a big boy. He got his shots today and was so brave - he only cried a little after the 3rd shot! Madelyn was there to console him . . .

School's Back in Session!

Monday marked our first day back at school since the Holiday break. I can't believe another Christmas and New Year have come and gone . . .

Kelly and I had our meeting with the Mana Beauty owners after picking up the kids and Nana watched them all at our house. After our successful meeting :) Kelly and the boys stayed for dinner.

Dylan is comforting Madelyn from the scary movie (Shark Tale) and Landon is collecting beads . . .

When daddy got home he had a massive pillow fight with all the kids!

Chase turned 3!!

That's right - the domino effect has begun! The first of "The Triplets" to turn THREE! His birthday was December 30th, 2006 but we celebrated Thursday (1/4).

Our CART Days are OVER!

We ended the New Year off with finishing our cart at Hulen Mall on 12/30/06! We met some wonderful people and made some great contacts! Our products will now be sold at Mana Beauty in the Hulen Mall and they have three other stores (Galleria, Vista Ridge, and Grapevine Mills)! It ended up being a successful and LONG 2 1/2 months!!

We'll still be able to visit most of our friends with our products still being there!

Big Boy Sitting Up!
