Sweet Potatoes!

It's so exciting to try out new foods! Sweet Potatoes were Madelyn's favorite so I was very excited for Marek to try them! He is a big fan of solid foods!

He's got to suck his thumb between bites - it helps make it taste better . . .

Christmas at Nana's and Papa's

It gets crazier and crazier each year at Nana's and Papa's house! Kids running and screaming, lots of eating, and wrapping paper flying everywhere!

Everyone helped Marek open his big present from Nana and Papa! Marek sat back and watched in amazement!

The "triplets" (Maddie, Dylan, and Chase) and Landon all got tricycles and tried them out . . .

Ashlynn got an "Easy Bake Oven" and made us all some delicious desserts!

Merry Christmas!

Santa didn't let us down this year. Even if he made 35 trips to Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us and eventually had to order a pink "cramera" on e-bay for twice what it was worth in the stores because he waited too long. It was worth every extra penny . . .

The pink camera has been a hit! It's digital and built kid tough!

Marek finally woke up to join us!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, we went outside in the rain and poured the "reindeer food", that Madelyn made at school, onto the lawn. I'm sure it helped the reindeer find their way in the rain . . .

Madelyn was nestled all snug in her bed while thoughts of sugar-plums danced in her head. . .

Christmas in Houston

Daddy and Madelyn went to Houston for part business and trip and part Christmas celebration. Mommy had to work at the Mall :( and Marek kept me company and hung out with Nana and Papa. Both parts of the trip were successful!

Madelyn's Preschool Christmas Party

It was a "Christmas Pajama" Christmas Party at Madelyn's School and Marek and I ventured up to her school to attend the festivities! She was so excited to see mommy and brother!

When we pray at night, Madelyn always thanks Jesus for her favorite friend, Kylie (in pink below). Kylie also happens to be Dylan's girlfriend!

Madelyn made food to pour on the lawn Christmas Eve for the reindeer. It consisted of rolled oats, cookie/cupcake sprinkles, and glitter!

Everyone brought a wrapped book to exchange. Madelyn picked one out for herself and Dylan because he was sick that day :(
