Corrupt SD Card

I lost a ton of photos in May due to a corrupt SD card.  Sad to say, the only way I remember what I've done month to month is by looking back at photos.  The only pictures I have from May is what people sent me from their phones.  :)  Thank God for technology.  It's a 4G card so I'm going to try to take it somewhere to get the pictures pulled . . .
